Sunday Roast

The traditional English Sunday roast made easy – with Roasting Potatoes.

    Ingredients

    Serves 10:

    • 2 kg Roasting Potatoes
    • 500 g carrots
    • 500 g Bimi
    • 10 large (or 20 small) Yorkshire Puddings
    • 10 steaks
    • 1 l gravy

    Preparation

    Oven
    200 °C, 20-25 minutes
    Frying Pan
    High temperature
    1. Pre-heat the oven to 200 °C.
    2. Place the potatoes halves in a casserole dish (no need for oil, pepper and salt).
    3. Place the dish in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
    4. Meanwhile, cook the Bimi and carrots in a saucepan.
    5. Prepare the gravy.
    6. Fry the steaks in the pan.
    7. Serve the potatoes with the vegetables, the meat, the Yorkshire Puddings and the gravy on a large plate.
    8. Tip: For vegetarians, the dish can be served with a meat substitute instead of the steak.
